Manager, second-generation auto body beast, and born and raised right here in the Lakes area. He had his own tools before he could walk and could pull a mad wheelie by the time he was three. He’s dabbled in many forms of racing, including ATV, UTV Pro Sport and, most recently, Akeley Ice Racing.

The go-to guy of the Northlakes for over 30 years and had his head under the hood since he was a toddler. With experience in auto collision, brakes, tires and glass repair, and Bill is happy to share his wealth of knowledge to keep your daily routine or vacation moving forward.

The exuberant shop hound. A happy-go-lucky Golden that can’t wait to be your next best friend. He loves to love, leaning against you with all that he's got. Over everything, he loves Nick (his dog dad) and taking a shoe or two. You can expect to find him waiting at the door for you.
In Memoriam
Steven Deszamp
Steve was a long-time employee at Northlakes Marine & Auto in Hackensack with his best friend and boss, Bill Garbe. He was also employed by Auto Value in Pequot Lakes. Steve loved camping with his family, computer games, fast cars, racing and especially bass fishing. He will be remembered as a loving and gentle man who loved his family and friends dearly, especially his cat, Trouble.
Gertie
Gertie was an 11-year-old German Shepherd mix that was rescued from Paws+Claws Rescue & Resort in Hackensack. After her abandonment, Gertie came to visit as a foster at Northlakes in June 2019. Instead, she found her forever family. Ask more about her courageous journey.
